    This is a great replacement engine for many TECUMSEH generator engines that have Horizontal Crankshaft. If your engine looks similar to this, has same Taper crankshaft, 1" stepped to 7/8" diameter crankshaft then you can use this engine. Please make sure your engine has the same crankshaft size. Otherwise, it will not work.

    For sale is a TECUMSEH engine for a generator, NOT a generator itself. PLEASE don't get confused.

    This horizontal crankshaft engine WILL NOT replace a vertical crankshaft engine

  • NO ALTERNATOR. This means that you will not be able to connect your snowblower's headlight, hand warmer or anything that requires the electric power to operate to this engine because it does not have an alternator. You can install an alternator on this engine, but it will requires more parts and labor.

    2. This is a great replacement engine for many SNOW TECUMSEH engines that have SAME HORIZONTAL CRANKSHAFT SIZE.
    3. Mounting patterns (4 holes in the base) are the same with all 8-11 HP Tecumseh Snow Engines
